The hotel will be a tremendous asset to the hospitality industry, and the skyline in Qatar, enhancing its reputation as a world-class destination,” said HE Mohamed bin Ajaj Al Kubaisi, owner of InterContinental Doha The City, in a statement.

InterContinental Doha The City has six restaurants and two lounges. Strata on levels 55 and 56 will be Doha’s highest restaurant with views a seafood menu; Nai will offer traditional Lebanese cuisine and Prime is a “meat-lover’s” restaurant. The Square will be an eclectic all-day dining restaurant with interactive cooking stations; Criollo will offer handmade chocolate treats; the Lobby Lounge will provide light snacks and drinks; and Hive is a stylish lounge.

The new hotel will also feature the InterContinental Concierge lounge, which enables guests to discover the hidden gems of Qatar based on recommendations of the concierge team, who are versed on authentic local knowledge. InterContinental Doha The City’s events centre includes a 1015 square-metre pillarless ballroom, accommodating up to 950 guests, four meeting rooms and a business centre.
