Internship in Budapest!

I am currently pursuing an internship in Budapest, and for the internship, I must be there at least 90 days. The internship is unpaid, so I am wondering, will I need a visa? What will I need to do? I am from the United States, so I know I will need medical insurance, etc. but what else?

I lived in Europe for 6 years, but on a military base, so it didn't require a visa or anything, but I'm not fully aware of what's necessary for the internship.

I think you will need a visa as your stay will be longer than 90 days. You should read this, the homepage of the Hungarian Embassy in Washington:
