Beautiful stadium, it's fantastic, wish we had something like this in Ireland.

I guess he meant stadiums (in Ireland) in general. Aviva (great stadium btw) is the only new stadium in Ireland afaik. And look at Poland, basicly every single town / club is getting a brand new stadium. Ofc Poland is a quite big country, but still, it's really impressive in my opinion.

![]() As for Wroclaw - it seems at this point that as much as it is a really unique venue, it has a lot of flaws. The biggest one being membrane covering the facades that is extremely dirty though was supposed to be stain-resistant and not requiring any cleaning at all. Then they said some water will do. And now they're saying only special detergents will keep it clean, but will have to be cleaned repeatedly. Below you can see a photo from Maciek of the Polish forum from yesterday. It shows a piece of membrane that was cleaned. Now compare it to the above and when you realize the membrane's been there only for a few months, it really looks worrying.

What is most impressive is how a Euro Championship can have such a drastic effect on the infrastructure of a large nation. It also seems to have a contagion effect, where every council/club gets the bug. Amazing what a simple decision can have on a country. |

Could someone please tell us why the membrane material used to wrap the Wroclaw stadium has not faded to a white colour yet?
The present plaster colour is horrible and looks about as graceful as a sack of potatoes. The membrane was supposed to have faded to white about a month ago so I wonder what's gone wrong. |

The membrane is currently covered with dust and is going to be washed after the end of construction process. One small fragment at the bottom has already been cleaned for test - you can see it in the center of first picture form post #987.

If we can have faith in the professional assurances that the membrane will eventually fade to white, that's fine. But as things stand it still has that woeful "worek kartofli" colour (potatoe sack brown). Worryingly, most of the membarne still looks as whiteless as it did when first mounted 4 or 5 months ago. |

What I meant was, I wish we had these kind of stadiums at a club level. I think this might be my new favourite stadium!

Brazil will probably play here friendly match after Euro (against Japan), also Borussia Dortmund and Shaktar Donetsk will take part in the tournament in Wroclaw.
