Oo nga ano.. Wala palang direct connection from PHL to Bali ngayon. Air Phil is supposedly gonna end it's Clark-Denpasar route this March.

Kapihan sa Kalibo weeky talk with the Press to the Governor said it is not far the realization of Aklan to be Regional Destination for Aviation he said the Tourism facilities that we have plus the Tourism investment line up in his office he added and not just Focus to Boracay, but the Province as a whole. He added also that KIA is already in PPP priority this 1st Quarter will be awarded.

China Airlines B737-800 Service to KLO as SKYTEAM with an agreement to share same route CODE SHARE^ to Mandarin Airlines Embraer ERJ-190

I wonder why sometimes one full Mandarin Airlines on the other side and one China Airlines at the same time.
So It can happen also to Tiger Airways having Chartered to Singapore at the same time SEAir will do the service to Clark because of code share.

if only the authorities were more prudent prior to the construction of the new terminal building. then, it would've been grander. too bad they failed to foresee the rapid influx of flights. sa huli nga talaga ang pagsisisi.

As for beautification of the current KIA, they should turn it into a garden airport - plant a lot of bougainvillea and build more spas, better looking restos...

agree. if they can do nothing with the terminal buildings, at least the the exterior should be beautified to make it more welcoming and touristy.

SAFETY FIRST-KIA acquired this state of the multi-Million Fire Truck last year to be able to comply basic International Safety of this Airport. Oshkosh Striker ARFF is widely used by most major Airports in the World this Airport Fire Rescue Truck is often see during Water Salute on Inaugural flights. Astig!

are you sure? there seems to be a dramatic decline if that is the case. the year 2010 listed more than 1 million passengers.

I just noticed that the Chinese name used for Boracay in TransAsia Airways website is 長灘島 (Zhang-tan dao) which literally means "Long Beach Island". Even as I am a Chinese-Filipino, I didn't know that, definitely a new learning for me.

Im not sure kung tama nga eto. Nabasa ko kanina sa news today and panay news 629, 750 passengers for 2011 based on the records of CAAP. Kung totoo man eto ibig sabihin bumaba ng almost 500k, kasi last year was 1,201,907...Abangan nalang natin ang official na ilalabas ng CAAP for 2011.
