Copyright issues

If we quote an article from a newspaper or journal, we should not only link to its source, but only quote a few lines as an excerpt ("Fair Use") and the link to the full article/story. Let's all try and follow the rule. Thanks!

Also, as we all know, we should link to the source for any photos we post, unless of course we took the photos ourselves.

Folks, please redouble our efforts to follow these rules; it is very important for our forum. I know everyone here is extremely good about it, but let's be vigilant that we do not copy whole articles. Thank you!!!

From Jan, the owner of this site. This is pretty much what we are doing, but let's try and stick to it closely, please:
