Hello everyone.
I am new in this forum but with the same problem like you. I have two studios in White Bay.
I am a German investor and live in Hong Kong. I used to have an agent but she is no help. So I wonder if I can join your forces.
What do I need to do ?
All I have done so far, sent the claim forms long ago and received a call from a person who offered me a swap to Dubai Sports City which I thought was a bad deal.

Any advice appreciated.

Welcome to this mess, we are making slow progress but the coordinator says he has been busy with his own business. I can pass your details on to him if you leave a private message. I seem to have forgotten how to do it this evening. One of the other members of the group may help.

News is either swap if you want or wait for years; first the liquidators will sue the bank for monies paid. Either party will appeal if they lose. If we win they will then have to convince the local authority to allow partition of the land so that it can be sold. SO a long journey many years.

It looks like all the partners are in cahoots to pull the wool over the investors' eyes. .A Liquidator appointed by the Federal Courts has no power to force a local bank to share the relevant details? What a mockery of law...

really interested as to the details of the swap offer. Is it in line with current market trends, or trying to off load property at inflated prices as we are in no bargaining position.

Who exactly is offering these swap deals? The Liquidators? Employees of White Bay (since it is a defunct company)? Enshaa? Doesn't make any sense since none of these entities can do anything legally unless the courts have given their ruling..

I just spoke with a local . I know this man for more than 25 Years... he regrets a lot what happened to me and to so many of us , but he also said he can´t imagine that anyone will refund us our money.

Somehow I had assumed that we would get some sort of justice when the Federal authorities stepped in. Words fail to describe this despair that many other unfortunate investors are also undergoing.. I feel especially sad because the three properties we invested in ALL turned out to be like this, leaving us with no money to pay the balance on handover for a fourth completed project. God help us all.
