I'm one of those big skeptic of these summit's because these are mostly done for political reasons and also of its very poor conversion rate. But i would definitely welcome a genuine investor summit for industry in Chennai.

The investments dont come because of some functions. It is just that the investments are showcased in a function. These functions just show off the investments which anyway would come. For that matter TN or even Maharashtra havent had such summits yet they are the top industrial employers. Just look at the employment numbers for proof. Infact only the BJP rules states (GJ, KA, MP) hold those summits. Having said that most if not all projects shown in those summits are paper projects. Can you refute that with proof? This fashion started around 2004 or 5 with industrial houses bandying fancy, improbable and sometimes even impossible numbers just to look good in front of the public. These are just PR exercises to make headlines in economic times and business standard.

Nice virtual tour SSCians Actually, i know the developments in GST Road and OMR only. Thanks for you covered the other ones also and was just superb to see the pictues and videos and Mokkai report of Kannan sir definitely deserves appreciation On a light note, 2, 3 naal leave kedacha mods and poattaa pudikkira payaluva laam vaangappu, MHR (Madurai Heritage Region I termed this name now) photo trip podalam
