More healthier than multinational Junk food brands like KFC , McD. etc.

This itself is a Case Study for Multinationals like KFC and Mc Donalds to enter the market.
Trivandrum is the Big untapped market in South India ......this was proved by the success of Margin Free (the first retail chain in India) and Big Bazaar,which has decided to throw open its third HyperMarket.
If a local brand is able to create this much fanfare why not KFC and Mc Donalds.

My suggestion is to brand the Chicken as "Trivandrum Chicken Curry(TCC)" ,"Trivandrum Fried Chicken (TFC)",... rather than jail chicken.

Trivandrum Fried Chicken is in more demand as the days pass by,



People are waiting in long queue to get the stuff

Chappathi and veg curry for vegetarians.

Uncontrollable rush every day.

Trivandrum Fried Chicken seems to be a brand already.

We never get that deep fried chicken in Bangalore, other than some select restaurants. I have seen only in ‘Ente Keralam’, a fine dining restaurant chain. We go there to relish the taste of the Chicken Fry we used to get from Azad.

BTW earlier we had ‘Trivandrum Chicken Corners’, which were present in multiple cities.

Dosa Festival @ Hotel Capital - continues to be a crowd puller


Dosha Utsavam at The Capital is an invitation to indulge in dosas, dosas and more dosas.

The fest which began last month is still continuing to be a crowd-puller

The dosa festival has a signature dish – ‘The Capital special dosa,' which is a family dosa with egg, tapioca, squid, shrimps, mutton, chicken and mixed vegetables.

‘Capital special dosa’ is a huge hit here,” says Prashanth Menon, restaurant manager. The Capitol special dosa has two layers. The first layer is boiled marinated veggies while the second layer has chicken, mutton, squids, shrimps and eggs. They also have a herb and spice seasoning

Happened to visit Saj Lucia yesterday after a long time...

There was a live performance from a local Ganamela team who sang only old malayalam melodies.

Even customers get a chance to sing...

Even though the music was loud, the ambience was good.They do serve drinks too..

Food is average. Overall, a good place for family.
