I've never understood why some people think Hull is the worst place in the UK (or the world, even).
I wouldn't worry about it. Some Britons believe the entire UK is a dump compared to every other country. Apparently life in the UK is just awful. We're living in a third world country, don't you know? No pride in anything, no loyalty to anything.
