We don't really delete accounts. If you have posted compromising information, feel free to edit that out yourself. If you don't come here any more, just leave it as it is.

Is there a way you can zap spammers posts when you ban them? Sometimes mods are slow deleting their posts.

Yes we can but we do have a day time job just like everyone else and can't be on line as much as we want to, thats why it would take some time for us to respond.

It wasn't meant as criticism, I understand mods can't be online all the time, but I was wondering if it's possible upon the banning of a spammer all his posts to be erased as well, because I see spammers getting banned almost instantly but their posts remain.

Normally, local mods can only ban and delete posts in the sections they moderate. But in the case of spammings, they can ban the spammers out side of their jurisdiction but it would have to wait for the admins, supermods or the mods who are responsible in those sections to delete the spam posts.

That's because the ban is made by a mod in another section that does not have powers over the one you're seing, so he can only delete the posts from the forums he controls. Then the local mod if and when he sees them (banned spammer's post) goes and deletes them.

If an Admin is the one who does the banning, then usually forum-wide posted spam is deleted at the same time too.
