Can't go wrong with kl sentral area either anderson. It is kl's most important transportation hub. Just like ifc in hong kong. The airport express train goes to ifc and they have four seasons and four seasons residence there too. St regis kl in kl sentral is just like that.
There won't be another residence like st regis so I do think that would be a better investment. The mrt is also coming up underground rite in front of st regis, between the museum. The mrt station in bukit bintang doesn't connect to pavilion or banyan tree. |

Also banyan tree is using a china contractor. Doubt the quality will be the same. St regis is using a korean contractor - daewoo. They are the same contractor that built the 60 storey klcc tower in between mandarin oriental hotel and petronas twin towers.

There is a residential component in the same building as W hotel but there is no W Residences as the developer did not enter into licensing/operations/management agreement with W for the residences.

For the money, I would invest in one of the damansara or mont kiara condos or duplexes. Better quality of life, away from the hustle, and save myself a lot of moolah as well. Then treat myself to a set of decent wheels, hmmm, maybe bimmer or lex with the savings. Then I don't have to care about the "excellent" public transportation.

Both projects have their advantages, IMHO...
While St. Regis may be in a slightly lower building, it is right smack in the future business district + transportation hub of KL... Whereas Banyan Tree is in the Bukit Bintang shopping precinct and within 10 minutes walk to KLCC... No comparison there!

Just making a point about originality. From how sensitive u r abt this, r u with the pavilion group? Can't base everything on just architecture. It is abt full package - the interiors, service, management etc.
