McBarge boat

If you remember Expo 86 in Vancouver, then you probably remember 'McBarge'. It was that cool McDonald's that was floating on a barge in False Creek (between Canada Place and Stanley Park ). We (my parents and I) ate there pretty much every day we were at Expo, along with thousands of other people.

This is what the old McBarge looks like now. It's a derelict ship that's been left anchored near the Chevron Refinery in North Burnaby.

I wonder if anyone will ever restore this ship? It's huge. It would be great for a floating restaurant, or a large house boat. Maybe a museum for Expo 86 paraphernalia?
