‘Big brother’ role for shipbuilder

The Port of Iligan is located along the northern central coastal areas of Mindanao facing the Iligan Bay with geographical coordinates of approximately 8o13’56’’ North latitude, 124o13’54’’ East. It is 795 kilometers southwest of Metro Manila.

It serves the port users and passengers coming from the hinterlands of the provinces of Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, and parts of the provinces of Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Zamboanga del Norte and Zamboanga del Sur, and the Cities of Iligan and Marawi.

· Anchorage:

Vessels may drop anchor at the following anchorage areas:
A. Anchorage North of Baseport Iligan
1. Latitude : 080 17’ 06” N
Longitude: 240 15’ 26” E
B. Anchorage South of Iligan City
1. Latitude : 080 13’ 55” N
Longitude : 1240 13’ 30” E

· Navigational Approach:

The Port of Iligan faces an open sea in Iligan Bay.

PORT FACILITIES:

Total Port Area : 71,902.45 square meters
Wharf : 360 square meters
Pier : 98 x 12 meters
Bulkhead : 782 square meters
Passenger Terminals : 1,258 square meters

Kulambugan Port
Mukas Port(Private Port)
Mukas Port(old)
Tubod Port
