Second picture in on the kss website, looks like quite a recent aerial photo. Most of the pitches look to be coming along!

The website is amazing there now going back in time for new photos

2 points

the pool looks very shallow, wasnt expecting diving depths but thought it would defeat the object been able to touch the bottom. But ledley knows best.

the second point, I love the row of lime trees on the drive. Once in bloom they will deliver an air of grandeur upon arrival.

March has been and gone and normal service has resumed with official website. Such a poor facility (the website) for a club with high aspirations.

I'm almost embarrassed to email them again.

It surely can't be that difficult to provide regular updates without being constantly reminded?

The website people had better pull their socks up before the stadium construction gets underway.

Couldn't bear it any longer. So I have emailed them again.

Really is shit that I have to do this.

You wouldn't have thought that a monthly update would be too onerous for them.

When they build the stadium, there had better bloody well be weekly updates plus a bunch of webcams giving 24/7 coverage.

Are you still emailing to customer.care@tottenhamhotspur.com? I'll send them one as well.

Apparently our academy has played its last game at the Lodge. The plan is to move to the new facility at Bulls Cross, Enfield early next month!

Not sure when the first team switches - late last year the plan was to move by the beginning of the 2012-13 season. Perhaps, it'll be sooner.

Was looking at the Timeline on Spurs' new Facebook page and found this snippet:

1996

Training Centre opened by Tony Blair. New Rights Issue raises £10.9 million to redevelop North Stand, complete hospitality areas in South Stand and reconstruct pitch. John Scales and Steffen Iversen signs for Spurs..

An image at the beginning of the lost decade.

It sums it up for me: a symbol of what went wrong at Spurs.

Would be nice if they could redevelop it for housing, sell for £30-50 million and thus pay for the new training ground!

However, they're unlikely to get permission for that, I'd have thought, so maybe they'll use it for their community work etc?

Indeed.

A chairman with limited ambition. A manager with limited ability. And a low budget training base which, typically for that regime, amply demonstrated the compete failure to understand where the game was headed and what would be required in the future.

I'll swerve any mention of the man in the middle!

Yep. Having had no reply and no training centre update in response to my April 7th email, I fired off a rather more impatient email yesterday. Seems to have done the trick!

But I have to point out that these pics are from March.

Is that the best that they could do? Really? We're nearly into May.

Still, it's better than nothing, I suppose. Here they are:

It's like astronomy, we're seeing things as they were in the past because it's taking so long for the photos to reach the web site. [/end terrible shoehorned analogy]

Looking good though! Can't wait to see some photos of it when it's finished. Should help sell the club to potential signings once we can boast a world class training facility.
