Khalifa International Stadium
Doha, Qatar Established 1976 and named after Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani. Main stadium of 2006 Asian Games and 2011 Pan Arab Games. Host venue for the 2004 Gulf Cup of Nations, 2011 AFC Asian Cup, and 2022 FIFA World Cup. Originally with a 20,000 capacity, expanded to a 50,000 capacity in 2005.
