There is a recent approval of a modification (in Feb 2012) relating to the "Tri- generation Plant". This will involve work underground beneath the heritage Brewery buildings and also underneath Blocks 1 and 4 (north and west of the Brewery buildings). Seems that work has to be completed first. Also I think the display center on Broadway is sitting where parts of block 1 and 4 will eventually be? |

Your right about the display centre being on the sites of block one and four.

There's plenty of Asian-esque food outlets that can open - many that would be new to the area. This includes Mos Burger as well as ZenQ and Hazel Tea (very popular in Brisbane, has franchise agreements)

![]() You got that shot flying in? Awesome! I'm starting to pick up locations in the eastern suburbs having toured them a bit in the past few weeks. For instance in that pic I can make out Kings Cross, Potts Point, Darlinghurst. Starting to feel more like a 'local'

You even got UTS in there with its engineering building for which they are still digging!!!
Its already looking ominious on the southern city skyline.

Fantastic shot Cul. Thanks so much for that.
I've driven down to Railway Square/Broadway a couple of times over the past week. This project has a real presence. It is MASSIVE! Very exciting to see this unfold bit by bit. It's going to change the South.

Love to see my Central Station airspace plan (or something similar) get up too
...would make Railway Square a real hub and meeting place.

I agree with Burchmore - there is another 19-20 floors in the core to go until it reaches full height of 116 metres.

A couple of photo's from the weekend. Established trees and paving going into the park, and a fourth lift core about to show itself in the massive hole to the south.
