- Collins Square II - New Westpac Building - 357 Collins Street - Aurecon Building That being said, it's not that much space that is remaining in either of them.

We need a Telstra or another massive company willing to relocate to get a 300 metre office tower up not to mention that it isn't really in the heart of the business district. However with all this commercial development U/C or pre-committed to, " VICTORIA IS ON THE MOVE" LOL |

The thing with the space being all pre-commited is that when tenants move into these new buildings, there's all the backfill space that needs to be let as well.
For example, when ATO moves into Collins Square, they leave space at 2 Lonsdale St, somewhere an LaTrobe St, and I think somewhere in Box Hill. This space is now available, and will reduce the demand for a new tower. The question that comes to mind, and I suppose this is aimed at Cul given he heard the rumour - is it the tower that would be built first, or the campus office type stuff at the back of the site? |

I think Grocon is too busy building stuff like this tower in Mumbai to worry about Melbourne :-(

That's got to be 110 stories. Build it here Daniel FFS! Building shit all over the world whilst leaving us with this bloody gaping hole on one of our city's crucial axis.

Mumbai's going through a bit of a bigger boom then melbourne Plus I'm sure building a 440m building in Mumbai would be much easier/cheaper then Melbourne

Plus, Grocon are the builder, they don't get to design the buildings they build.

Uber sigh. I don't think that building will age well especially in Mumbai's climate.

World One in Mumbai will be 442 metres and 117 levels high!
It will be the tallest residential building in the world when it is completed unless the Pentominium in Dubai (516m, 122l), which is also a project Grocon is working on, starts construction again Currently the tallest residential building in the world is Princess Tower in Dubai (404m, 101f) which is yet another Grocon project!

It's the entry to the archive which is a basement. As I undstamd it rmit which owns more than just the hub (maybe half width agaain along Victoria frontage) have been a pain in the arse in making the remaining grocon part of the site integrated with rmit and through to tJe intersection of swanston and Victoria.
