The current Billy Wright stand holds around 9k so would have to be replaced with a monster 21k-22k stand to take Molineux up to 50k.
We'd have to either be in Europe or be a World Cup City to justify 50k. Neither occurrences look likely at the moment. ![]() ![]() Of course a new Billy Wright Stand would spread into the NW and SW corners so wouldn't need to be that much higher than the other 3 sides. |

as explained by Boldteddy. BW already holds 8,700.
There are rumours of putting a singing section into Molineux but to be honest we already have one. just be nice if we were allowed to place banners in areas and stand. etc. 7,700 NB stand 7,700 SB stand 13,000 St.B stand 21-22,000 BW stand Although technically around 3,200 seats would be accomodated linking the corners so around 19k-20k. |

Maybe a euros. shame the rfu didnt think bout molinuex would rather have that or villa park then the ricoh arena. Rugby could be quite a nice little earner for wolves especially all the teams im the midland maybe play hc quaters or semis there maybe one regular season game

Leicester and Gloucester are the only rugby club grounds used. ![]() Ricoh get everything, Location, location, location. And I think we need our pitch to settle down a bit before we start playing rugby on it (Christophe Berra excepted ).

Know northampton have to use mk dons ground at some games in europe cause their ground isnt big enough. One thing i will never understand is the twickenham pitch looks immaculate doesnt cut up at all where as wembley cuts up all the time xxx

Wembley gets a lot more use, and they keep relaying turf, whereas Twickenham only gets used a handful of times each year.

Fake sunlight? It will likely be a rig with lamps on it that makes the grass grow. Quite a few stadiums have them now, thet have wheels and move around the field encouraging the grass to grow.
![]() http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/ic...-431579342.jpg They use them at Molineux, so I'm pretty sure that's what the light in the pic is: ![]() http://www.expressandstar.com/wp-con...-07-TT-151.jpg

I don't know why we need grow lamps at the north end of the pitch. Plenty of sunlight even in winter, although the pitch was relayed last year. Maybe a BOGOF.
The south end has always been a problem. ![]() http://www.siteeyelive.com/monitor/wolves/camputer6.jpg |

When are they going to start adding seats to the second tier?
