Hope someone can helpe me identity which neighbourhood this house is in.

Firstly i am sure you ppl are aware that in singapore most citizens live in high rise buildings since land is scarce but the richer ppl are able to afford to stay in houses in most western countries. I think 20% of the population stays in such houses but there are still quite a number of such houses in neighbourhoods spread out all over the country. I hope someone in here can tell me which neighbourhood this house is located in.

It can be hard to tell which neighbourhood this pic is taken as it could be from hougang, clementi or even bedok neighbourhood. Private properties are everywhere in the island. Land is scarse in the islnd but we can still find lots of this kind of properties everywhere...

Also, usually private home areas on the island tend to be rather ugly... Tacky postmodernism and such...

I'm guessing it was built during the 1960s - 1970s. Quite a common design. Typical square functionalist designs, most likely part of a huge estate development. That kind of tiling was popular during late 1980s I think. Many public housing also has similar look of tiling used as default interior tiles.
