I think it's going to be the future Kernavės street part in there, and it will be tunneled under Konstitucijos Avenue. That street I think is going to be of a similar status as a Gelezinio Vilko street, and it will probably be for cars only

This is fantastic news.

Unofficial sources have confirmed that in the next few weeks we'll be seeing the demolition of the unfinished concrete structure (once intended to be a hotel) which is currently occupying the plot and has been standing there for the last 20 years. This one:

Norwegian developer Schage Real Estate has signed long term office rental agreement with main occupant DNB Bank. It will occupy 10000 sq. meters of the tallest 17 floors tower. This new agreement opened up a possibility to start construction in January due to access to finances. Hopefully we will see the cranes in NCC very soon after three years of stagnation.

That's the first highrise to go up in Vilnius since the nearby Swedbank HQ was completed a few years ago. The New City Center of Vilnius is finally back on track.
