Empire City kicks off weekend showcase
by Alan Dexter, alandexter@theborneopost.com. Posted on August 11, 2012, Saturday http://www.theborneopost.com/2012/08...kend-showcase/ ![]() GREAT INVESTMENT: (From left) Irene Kang, Clara Chai, Chan, Brendan Phang, Ethan Law and Cheong posing for the camera. KUCHING: Mammoth Empire Holdings Sdn Bhd (Mammoth Empire), together with its official East Malaysia marketer Borneo Real Estate invites all investors to visit an exhibition roadshow for Kuala Lumpur based-property development. The company is a well known property development company in Malaysia with many successful projects such as Empire Galeri Klang, Empire Hotel, Loft and Ara Bangsar, Empire Subang, Empire Shopping Gallery and Empire Damansara. The company is debuting in Sarawak with its roadshow in Kuching this weekend. The roadshow is at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Kuching, showcasing both the the Empire Residence at Damansara and the Empire City’s Serviced Office Suites. During an interview, Cheong Beng Hung, the assistant general manager of sales and marketing for Mammoth Empire said, “We want to balance the investors here in Malaysia and wanted to attract the East Malaysia market. We see that Sarawak has the potential. “Any investor who wish to have a good return, in terms of investing in property, they don’t need to look outside Malaysia,” said Cheong. He opined that Malaysia had plenty of interesting properties to invest in. In Malaysia, the property market was the country’s economic backbone. In addition, he also said that the demand and potential was still growing as there was plenty of land that had yet to be developed. “There are statistics showing that many people outside Kuala Lumpur is moving in, especially the new generations. This is the reason why Kuala Lumpur population is growing. “With this migration, it creates a strong demand for property and will help to spur growth,” explained Cheong He continued that, “The last stop was in Kota Kinabalu, where response was overwhelming. “It was our first penetration towards the East Malaysia market and we were very excited about it. “We managed to get about 30 over units, and the response is still there. Our agents are still following up.” Cheong said. He foresaw that in one or two weeks time, the company was confident that it could reach about 40 units. “We expect the same response from here. There are total of 508 units for Empire City.” Aubrey Chan, the managing principal of the Borneo Real Estate also said that, “Kuala Lumpur has a higher return as the population concentration is stronger. With more people coming in, it creates a demand, as population is the catalyst for this market.” During the roadshow, there will be a special package for the purchase of Empire Residence which included a special discount, low down payment, free legal fee on sales and purchase agreement, as well as excellent end financing loan. Furthermore the package also includes competitive interest rates, free clubhouse membership and repayment up to 30 years. The exhibition is being held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel Kuching, Level 2 starting August 10 until August 12, from 10am until 7pm.

Any plan to link Ikea, Curve MRT Station and Empire City with a skybridge/pedestrian tunnel? No MRT station is gonna make it inconvenient

They should SERIOUSLY look at linking all these projects by some people-mover transport, similar to the monorail between Jupiters Casino and Oasis Mall in Broadbeach, Gold Coast... For instance, the train can connect Empire City with Empire Damansara and proceeding to the Curve and Mutiara Damansara before making a loop back... At least it helps to reduce the number of cars traveling between these areas and causing more congestion!
