First of all you have to be register at Simtropolis.com, and then go to file or files you want to download, you have to extract the file once you've downloaded, make sure you downloaded all the dependencies, (They're always in the Read me of the file) finally put it in your plugins folder in Sim City 4 folder

Rather than downloading all the files and plug ins which can be a long process sometimes, is there a cd rom which comes with all the plug ins?

Not an official one from EA, but Simtropolis has donation CDs and DVDs available.

Ok I have a question. I downloaded the transamerica pyramid and jin mao tower from STEX and neither one show up in my landmarks menu. Both should be ploppable and have no dependancies. I've downloaded other landmarks and all work fine its just these to won't show up in the menus. Can someone help me with this? I have an up to date sc4 deluxe.

my only option will be a bit hard though, download the "buildingplop" cheat at SC4D and sift through the list. or you'll have to contact the uploader.

Try one of the other menus. I know there was an initiative that was getting started in 2007/2008 to try to keep the Landmarks menu from getting too cluttered by using menu-modifications to hide certain things unless you clicked a certain button to add them, and placing those buttons in menus that weren't the Landmarks menu.

I've looked in all menus and no luck. Also I downloaded other functional landmarks yesterday and all show up in the menus. Could it be a missing or corrupted file? Perhaps someone could download either one of those let me know if they have any luck.
