Wow, despite Assiut being a very small airport, they really put effort into it.

افتتاح مبنى مطار أسيوط بتكلفة 232 مليونا

أكد الطيار حسن راشد رئيس الشركة القابضة للمطارات والملاحة الجوية أنه سيتم افتتاح مبنى مطار أسيوط الدولي الجديد خلال الأسبوع القادم بتكلفة بلغت 223 مليون جنيه بعد مضاعفة حركة السياحة وتنشيطها بمدن الوجه القبلي.

وقال إنه سيتم أيضًا افتتاح طريق جديد يربط بين سوهاج وأسيوط وذلك في إطار سياسة وزارة الطيران المدني لاستكمال كافة المشروعات لخدمة الركاب وحركة السياحة.

ويقع المبنى الجديد للمطار على مساحة 20 ألف متر مربع ويسع 800 راكب ساعة، وتم تزويده بجميع الأنظمة الحديثة ويضم صالة للسفر وأخرى للوصول ومزود بـ6 كاونترات للجوازات وكافتيريات ومكاتب إدارية وأسواق حرة ومطاعم.

You know guys, Asyut airport opened this week, few weeks ago was Port-Said airport , with all the changes we want to do in Port-Said & Alexandria and the many tunnels all over Egypt. I can't expect better than that.... I have feelings that we're preparing ourselves for the revival of the country. I just want the end these massive strike out & revolution in the country so our economy gets better, i want to see the new potential of our country . I can't wait

hold your horses. Those are just few projects here and there. You know this is outbox topic but I would LOVE to see Egypt's pavement suitable for disabled people. It's freaking like stairs it goes up and down and if you have a wheelchair it's just not right we need to do something them. Equality in life is an important issue.

Yes but don't deny within 6 months we accomplished what Mubarak has accomplished in 10 years

construction wise nah not really those projects and mist of these projects were planned during mubarak's time. We have an economical problem and not much investors remember so it's understandable. All I can think of are two mega projects el baz project and zewil

the tunnel water in Port-Said was the idea of Mubarak, been 10 years he owed us such project, but never went in action.

I like them, but in my opinion, they are usually an unnecessary expense in warm climates.
