As far as I understand, current zoning remains unchanged for all plots along the canal, however, there is very likely to be some movement on this project soon......

So for now, everything stays the same, plans and all, BUT I cannot promise that zoing and phasing will not be changed.....

Is this a fully abandoned project? I have heard nobody mentioning this a "paused" or "delayed"

It's sad, this was probably the most interesting project in Dubai, much cooler than the over-done palm islands.
