I hope this ends the discussion regarding the official name of the mall.
By the way, i really have noticed the great impact that this mall has brought within the surrounding community. My Observations: 1.) After years of idle and only having 2-3 houses, Robinsons Bloomfields is now on a construction boom and "mansions" are sprouting. There is in fact a very big demand for masons and construction wokers. 2.) All vacant lots in Belisario heights are being converted into high end apartments. The management is looking into the possibility of putting up a swimming pool and recreation park that caters to both homeowners and outside guests. 3.) I have observed that several houses in Hillside and Roseville subdivision that were previously on "For Sale" were not anymore being sold. They are waiting for a sudden rise in value of their property perhaps? 4.) Another multi-door apartment is also under construction in Mamay road just infront of Belisario heights mamay entrance. 5.) Mamay inn and dozens of new commercial spaces in front of Saint Anthony Village. 6.) Another commercial establishment (2-3 storeys) adjacent to JTC tower. 7.) A newly built 5 door, 3-storey apartment right at the entrance of hillside and belisario

Perfect observation, Shanz. That's because that is the economic reality of Davao City as a premier investment destination today in the island.

real estate hotspot thanks to sm prime and the IT park zone.
private sector has done its part of deelopment. i just hope city governemnt will double its effort in laying down support infrasture within this growth spot necessary for a attractive environment that will encourage/lure in more private investments to to pour in more capital in the area. environment that will not restrict further development and expansion towards ayala-landco mini cbd. so that these 2 mini cbd will eventually conjoined to become a bigger and wider cbd. i hope to see wide road network by world class cbd standards between lanang centre and ayala-landco cbd. private sector is already there doing their massive share of development. hopecity governemtn could keep up the momentum at hand by taking all these development seriously on their planning board. whats worrying is if city governemnt cannot keep up with this developments and continue with that small town low level impact infrastructure that has little effect on aesthetic world class modernisation of city scape , that will manifest in the future as a lack of foresight and poor planning. eventually, will negatively impact against continued physical growth and development of the cbd. a world class cbd would be a legacy they can leave to the people they can take pride to the eyes of the world. maybe partner with the national government or private sector to share financial cost in embarking on world class infrastructures for the cbd. network of wide multilane flood free road(accessibility) is imo should be on top of the priorities. roads with modern traffic control system and undergorund cable/wires
