[SIZE="3"][FONT="Comic Sans MS"][COLOR="Blue"]I share the same opinion as some of the people here. The last pics are some of the best of the city. Now i could appreciate some of the British influence en some of the neighborhoods, besides the typical colonial, that is.
Beautiful town. I like it. Very relaxing and you would surely feel "you're out of Kansas."
Thank you for sharing the pics.

Is there anyone else out there commenting on Belize who writes/speaks English? The language of Belize is English, not Spanish.

Good, Belize doesn't need tourists like you anyway.

Belice seems a very quite place, ideal for tourism. What I notice, however, is that even though the place´s got very interesting buildings and constructions, seems like the weather is either too harshful or too wet, to keep them neat and clean. Due to the weather the buildings wear down and looks like there are not enough resources to mantain them properly.

Nice place anyway.

Just my opinion
Your observation is correct. I was in Belize back in the late '80s. I thought the people there had given up on being battered by hurricanes. I know I would too. I loved their outlook on life; their "Don't Worry, Be Happy" attitude. Their culture is (was) very laid back and more Caribbean than Latin. You are (were) never rushed there; however, Belize has many of the same problems that the U.S. faces with "outside" influences. I have heard that Belize has changed considerably from when I was there to now. This is unfortunate; I wouldn't want to go back if it's all hurried, frenetic and Latin.

It was the perfect little country for Americans and Canadians to visit, but they must like to "rough it" and be away from pretentious, over-priced resorts like they have in Hawaii. Forget about Waikiki, Belize is uncrowded and is alien to Hong-Kong-style population density. There is so MUCH potential for this little English-speaking nation; but I think that what Belize HAD in 1989 is the real potential that some of us out here are looking for in an extended tropical vacation.

It would be nice for your part if you explain this sentence please, i may not be latin, but tons of people here actually are, and it sound a little racist.

Greetings from Chetumal, Q. Roo.
