Stunning pics mate, for me (as a south-Swede) it is a very strange thing to see this kind of pictures of my country. It doesn't resemble of anything I think of, when I think of the Swedish nature becuase we don't have that kind of landscape down here! It's a sad thing because it's really beutiful!

Well, Skåne is beautiful, aswell. Some flat fields remind of France a lot. Moreover, there are some hills or rocky coasts down there. If to think, what country the nature of Sweden is similar to, the one should seriously think about Canada. Many agree that there are similiraties between these two countries.
Northern Sweden is something I dream to visit myself. There is so much space to enjoy the nature as it is.

Vištytis lake is the 4th biggest (17,83 km²) and the 3rd deepest (max. depth-54 m.) lake in Lithuania. It is the cleanest lake in Lithuania and one of the cleanest in Europe, so clean you can almost drink from it.
Lake is situated on the border between Russian Kaliningrad oblast (border with Germany prior to the WWII) and Lithuania.

I thought that you can drink from nearly all lakes, at least here in the nordics!

I seriously doubt that lake to be one of the cleanest in Europe, we have thousands of nice unthouched lakes here in Sweden (and in finland). Especially in northern Sweden there are many really clear lakes deep into the forests. They should at least be cleaner than that one I think, otherwise it would be quite strange!
