Definitely Rotunda, though I feel it has lost part of its character following the refurb.

That one in Leeds always looks like it's leaning - it makes my eyes go weird.
I don't dislike it though. But the Rotunda is better.

I like them both equally. Candle House is arguably more innovative than Rotunda, I like them both even though I should prefer Candle house but they both look pretty decent.

Candle House is nice. My favourite new highrise in Leeds.
The Rotunda however is taller, older, has more glass and an interesting history. The top desperately needs completing though to give it its iconic status back. |

I don't know if it's actually Rotunda vs Candle House or Rotunda vs Leeds forumers gloating about Candle House.
That's why I prefer Rotunda. Brummies aren't gloating about it

Nothing to gloat about, Rotunda is our baby, together with BT Tower and now Beetham Tower. All iconic Brummy towers, original and the best. |

New COOP HQ popping up next to the CIS tower.(green cranes) Note Wakefield Street tower under construction. Mediacity and Salford Quays far left. Salford(tower blocks) to the left of Beetham Tower. Etihad Stadium and East Manchester far right. Manchester Univeristy Campus in the foreground.(left) http://www.flickr.com/photos/21913923@N03/6955971205/ image hosted on flickr

But yeah, Rotunda is very nice. I would have prefered the sections of Candle House to be parallel to be honest.

That was a rather disappointing image of Manchester skyline. When I scrolled I expected something great, instead it just faded into nothingness.
The issue with Manchester skyline is not that its bad its that people struggle to find the right vantage point. |
