each truck can carry 250 barrels of oil. loading of each truck takes about 15 minutes.
to export 250,000 barrels/day needs a fleet of 2000 trucks (half loaded, half returning empty) as well as 20 loading stations operating for 20hrs/day. or more loading stations if operating only 16hrs/day.

PS. the "arabs" get a large chunk of the oil money taken out of Kurdistan, which is why they fluster and bluster in public but don't want to stop the gravy train (now that the basra route is getting mostly under control, especially with the EITI rules for audit/transparency in effect in the "Iraqi" fields now.

correcting of a few mistakes. KRGs budget has not been decreased as such. just the "federal" budget has gone up, decreasing the "regional" budget. The federal budget INCLUDES KURDS TOO, but its disbursed from Baghdad rather than KRGs own ministries. The exact same effect happened to all the "dreaded arab" ministries. which is why the krg parliamentarians didn't really kick up a fuss about it... of course some hacks without the full picture latched onto it.
