How you can consider carefully selected pictures with an extreme negative bias - exactly the sort of thing I discredited in my previous post - as proof of your point is astounding. Are you not able to see how you're doing the exact same thing as those who only posted images of Sao Paolo's slums (and those who only posted images of their luxury stores and mansions)? Thankfully you seem unable to embed images correctly, so I've not had to see most of them.

While your Google Image search skills are very impressive, data relating to the living conditions and quality of life of those in the cities you posted as well as the total number of people in the relevant group are requirements when trying to argue a point as absurd as yours. The lack of any actual data, beside your mind-boggling inclusion of what percentage of the cities' inhabitants are black, says a lot about the validity of your argument. The United States is at a much more advanced stage of development, communities like the Favelas simply don't occur.

All this is of course completely beside the point of this thread and utterly irrelevant to the topic we were discussing. As it was the only part of my post you chose to "reply" to, I'll just go ahead and assume you completely agree with the rest of it. The state of many American cities are just as bad as Brazil, they're just different in that they once were thriving communities but with demographics being what they are now they've turned into decaying slums. Sao Paulo is in the same situation but there the migrants from northern Brazil have settled in unplanned townships rather than existing precincts. In Paris and London we will increasingly see estates turned into no-go zones for the wider community services and from then on there will be similar slums.

Twenty years from now we'll all have to post pictures of failed estates as soon as someone post pictures of Paris, Marseille or Brussels.

Data for what? That most majority black cities in the US are turning into slums not much different from a favela? Or that unplanned townships are not a specific Brazilian problem? Or that many black communities around the world are suffering from dysfunction? What is it that you want me to back up?
