Unfortunately not; Principal-1 airports are not all lighted.

every 3rd sunday of sept. festivities are practically month-long, though. activities peak on the 3rd week, and classes are called off by 3rd wednesday, resuming only tuesday after the fiesta.

today's cebupac sale includes the fiesta dates.

Cebu Pacific to Increase Manila - Naga Flights
Quote:
Cebu Pacific is to increase the number of flights between Manila and Naga to four times daily starting 14 October 2011.

The airline currently operates a thrice daily ATR 72-500 service from Manila to Naga and vice versa.

The additional daily ATR 72-500 flight is set to depart Manila at 06:40 and arrive in Naga at 07:35. The extra return flight will depart Naga at 07:55 and arrive in Manila at 08:50.

Aside from Naga, CEB flies operates a thrice daily Airbus service from Manila to Legazpi, and a thrice weekly ATR 72-500 service from Cebu to Legazpi. It also flies four times weekly from Manila to Virac.

“CEB hopes to serve more passengers going to Camarines Sur (Naga) with our additional flights. This is a popular destination in the country, and we hope to give more opportunities for guests to experience its world-class events,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution, Candice Iyog.

IronMan 70.3 Philippines this coming 14 August 2011, and the 22nd Philippine Advertising Congress on 16-19 November 2011, are just some of the big events in Camarines Sur.

“CEB added Manila-Naga-Manila flights on August 12 and 15 for the IronMan event, and on November 16 and 20 for the Advertising Congress. We remain supportive of Camarines Sur’s efforts in stimulating trade and tourism to the province,” Iyog said.

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 15 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 23 Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements.

When is this airport going to see an expansion? It gets really frustrating because prices become ridiculously high, if compared to airfares at LGP. The jets probably offer higher profit margins.

Any upgrade of airports are all possible, otherwise they shouldnt be there in the first place. Whats really hampering the improvement is all politics or will power of government officials. No need to be technical about it, with philippine politics anything is possible...or strangely not possible.

This is just a desperate fantasy of mine, since most funds of dotc for bicol has all been directed to BIA or SLIA whatever, why not solicit fund from naguenios living in USA, I believed thats where mayor Bongat just came from. May seem far fetch...but who knows.

According to Google Maps, the PNR South Main Line is located pretty close to the airport. Would a direct train service between Naga and the airport make sense if there would be money for a spur line from the main line towards the airport?
