There was a documentary movie made on the construction of this. It was shown on Sky years ago and I've always wanted to see it again. Well I've finally found it online! A real cracking documentary, and hour and a half of skyscraper geekery!

Looks nice beside the Heron, the Gherkin is so symbolic in London, you immeadiately think of Tower 42 by the Gherkin, now it's really sad about the cluster blocking some views, destroying that, but you still see it around on adverts alot!

Beautiful photo.
It almost looks like a model around the base....perhaps its that tilt shift effect.
