The Magical Island of Crete, Greece

This island has it all....rugged green forests, dry "Cyclades-style" mountains, snow covered mountains in the winter, and sandy white beaches everywhere!

What amazes me is the amount of snow this southern Greek island can actually get!

Although I have been to Greece 32 times and even lived there, I have only been there once!

It is definitely a place I need to explore further and visit again!

Strange indeed that Crete gets so much snow, given the Island's location.

It's impossible (al least fo me) to decide where to go first in Greece, with such wonderful places.....
