That high. I'm lucky to get 12-15mpg out of my car.

You are all also forgetting to factor in car parking, that's £20/day in a reasonably priced car park, and some you pay £20/hour (like Knightsbridge Car Park which as the nearest car park to where I was working recently).

25mpg on the motorway is still pretty appalling, you want to get a nice Hyundai Getz or something, much more economical.
