In Malaysia, we have many hospital chains such as Integrated Healthcare-Parkway Group that is now Asia's largest hospital operator.



Above all, the most luxurious and expensive 5-star hospital is called Prince Court Medical Centre in KL.

The hospital that does not look like one.

Hospital compound. The hospital located in the heart of town is also located near a country & golf club.



Prince Court apparently has one of the most expensive treatment fees in Malaysia. And it is the only hospital run by Petronas, an oil company.



The hospital is internationally-recognised being member of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua).

Believe or not... Malaysia now has 35 medical schools serving a population of less than 30 million people.

The Perdana University campus is now under construction in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Malaysia.

Public healthcare

Currently the Government offers 1 ringgit treatment fees at specially-run franchised clinics. Penang hospitals are renowned for Cosmetic Surgery and the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur is the largest cardio hospital in the region.
