Hey, I said, I don't judge, and I don't want to speak out before knowing the facts, I also saw on this forum a guy from Iasi who made a huge road trip, also through Albania, and nothing happened to him, though he got to some dirt roads. I did a little research, I have to admit, I didn't know much about your country, nothing is really said here, and if it is, it's surely not positive. I could see much has improved. To conclude this (little off-topic), I will surely visit it sometime in the (near) future

lawl...Why plan to come then if its not positive ?? But a friendly advice for you dont read to much into the Serb-Greek comments which are made about Albania most of them arent true. Albania didnt get chosen as number 1 destiny for tourist for the year 2011 over nothing. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/albania/...articles/76164

But on topic it doesnt really matter. Hope someone can help you further, who knows more about Greece-Macedonia than me. (You can ask the same question at the Makedonski or the Hellenic forum here. I am sure you will get helped much faster there.)

Thanks Kulla, I posted on the local forum also. And yes, I know about that article. Also I prefer to see each country for their beauty and nice people, I'm not into political or ethnical haterid. Of all Balkan countries, I only visited Serbia, it's easy, Timisoara is near the border, I liked what I saw there, places and people. And I'm sure I will like what I would see in the other ex-YU and Balkans. Hope we end the off-topic here .

Here's a nice pic from National Geographic.
The picturesque church of St. John the Theologian–Kaneo, built in the 13th century, perches on the rocks above placid Ohrid Lake. The border between Macedonia and Albania runs through the lake, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ever heard of something called interpuction ?? I have notified your moderator about the provocative posts you keep making in order to cause a fight basically. I just hope this time he finally sees in you didnt get banned 5-6 times before for nothing. As for you enjoy trolling. I am sure i will see you back with your next account.

As for your stupid claims above:

In the year 2008 23% more tourists have visited Albania. http://www.freshpropertyco.com/2008/...bania-in-2008/

In the year 2009 this was 36% the best increase world wide. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/helloch...nt_8609688.htm

As for 2010 the number hasnt been published yet seen its still increasing.

2011 http://www.lonelyplanet.com/albania/...articles/76164

Now wipe the tears away.

My wife and I visited Albania a couple of years ago and thought it was great!
We crossed the border at lake Ohrid from Macedonia (another wonderful country) and crossed a stunning mountain range to reach Tiranna. We found this to be a surprising, fun and fascinating city (in fact I posted a few photos somewhere on this website).
Would love to have visited the coast but didn't have time. However my sister and her boyfriend travelled along it this year.
So I don't particularly want to get involved in the above row, but just for the record, that's 4 people who've been there...

Macedonia is wonderful. The sights, the nature, the cities, the people, the nightlife. I've been three times and I'm going again in September for a wedding

I also really want to go to Albania before the tourists rush in, lol. But I guess now Lonely Planet has written that I'm a bit late with that.
