isn't more then half of our population under 30 or something....

so all them are going to have kids in the future and our population will double.....

the Population of Pakistan is probably a little over 200mil atm... even though World Bank says 175mil.....

i expect that to be around 300mil + by 2030

As per the Pakistan Census 2011 the Population of Pakistan has gone up by 47% in 13 Years (1998-2011). As such in the next 19 Years it should increase by about 70%. Here is the Article in respect of the 2011 Census of Pakistan :

Balochistan's population density is very low. There is lots of space there for population expansion, it is practically empty. The government needs to make planned towns and cities there.

I don't really believe what GEO says as only a year ago we were 175 million now according to them we have a population of over 190 million with no official confirmation.

According to official census website Pakistan's estimated population is 180 million right now.

Nevertheless, I do believe something should be done to contain population growth. Huge increase in population translates in to less per capita income.

No Census has been done since 1998, its just an estimation, so thats not true even. Geo published a report done by some I think foreign organisation, so it was not done by GEO, so it may be true...

Wish they had brought down the population growth rate to ideal 2 or less kids per family in 1960s, and who knows we could have been a first world country by now.

Hmmmm.... 180 million people in an area about as large as Texas + Louisiana?

Yeah, you probably ought to put the breaks on the breeding.

But access to clean water, sanitation, chaotic political system, tribalism, food and education are major issues ...also the economy seems to be rather primitive. How will you employ the waves of new citizens?

Massively over populated. It needs a fix. 1 child policy, I say. Eugenics for the less able minded, bodies, attractive, poorest and so on.

No just educate women , give them full rights and leave religion in the mosques. Focus on water treatment not foolish things like nuclear weapons.

Definitely agree with leaving religion in the mosque. Then too only government mandated masjids with state imams who have to teach moderate, classical Islam.

Not because a big population Pakistan is poor, and is a horrible idea a population control(you need violence, and I think the pakistan people don't want more violence)
