Selam Alejkum, I don't see the point in the continuous construction around the Masjid al-Haram, I personally think that everything in a 1,000 meter radius should be flattened, a beautiful area should be created to give the thousands of worshipers space, also since Islam sees no boundaries or differences among people perhaps it would not be a wrong idea to establish Makkah a district without any nation governing it, a place where money only goes out in the form of charity and where no money is spent also a place with no tax, a place where people come to pray to the creator, a place that is owned and is a home for every Muslim in the world.
