I also hope it gets built. St. George's tower turns out to be about the same height as the gherkin, but it's far blander. I prefer our tall buildings to have some sort of aesthetic appeal beyond 'tall', and the Pinnacle does.

well... I've always found it easier to draw cities than render them. Once my exams finish tomorrow you may find some interesting sketches uploaded on this thread...

This made me chuckle. It's been quite a long time since architects actually bothered to consider the feelings of the proles when designing their hideous new utopias. Even today, there are plenty of 'party workers' prepared to defend foul concrete bunkers or bland flat-pack-assembly boxes as 'progress'.

Yet the proles still prefer the double-plus-ungood buildings erected a century ago. So uneducated are they!
