50 % sold the first night of Peltonkvartalet step 2.
Kværnerbyen is still pretty popular. |

I think the balconies on most modern projects looks disapointing. They need to offer more privacy and look better.

I think I disagree. Glass is absolutely perfect, if cleaned and well kept. It's good looking, it doesn't block off light from the apartment, and it makes it possible to watch the city life below. Also you can "skjerme" with small plants/bushes if needed.

Most balconies have a hard time providing space enough for two upright chairs and a small table. Shielding insight with plants will be a challenge. I agree that glass walls on balconies look good, but as you can see on the project mentioned previously in this thread, that is not the normal balcony style used by entrepreneurs.

You can always cover the glass with a blanket (if you're panty-less or for other reasons)

The plans for Enebakkveien 69 are progressing. A study for opening up Alnaelva has been made, in combination with further development of the plot. Read about it here: http://web102881.pbe.oslo.kommune.no...fileid=3616259

![]() Not a single reference to biology, including fish: ![]() A lot of consideration for access for the public, but what about access for fish? The salmon and sea trout populations in the fjord are quite vulnerable. Gjersøelva (tiny), Akerselva (sterilized with chlorine last year), and Lysakerelva are the only spawning possibilities as of now. Alna is very important in this regard. I also believe it would make the river more attractive for the public, if it was teeming with life, rather than being just a drawn-out fountain. But at least they recommend a full opening, giving natural fluctuation of water levels. This is important for the life there. |

by the time the bikes and kids toys and laundry fill them up you won't notice the quality of the balconies...

For once i must actually say im impressed with OBOS and at least their idea and concept for the next step in Kværnerbyen.
I just hope they follow this up with a good choice in materials and solutions in the project. ![]()
