For this little row of shops it's fate was sealed by the sorry state of the apartment buildings behind it. And to redevelop this location with the old shops would have been impossible.

But I do hope that the city and developers continue to provide places for these kind of small shops.

New Project

TOKYO 東京 | Kanda-Nishikicho 3-Chome Joint Building Plan 神田錦町3丁目共同建替計画 | 92m | plan

http://www.kensetsunews.com/article....&class=pickups

This new project was announced today in the construction press. It's the redevelopment of 2 blocks in Kanda-Nishikicho 3-Chome (22 & 24). Several smaller buildings will be replaced by 1 office tower and a green open "disaster prevention" space. The tower will be 91.6m, but that could be the roof height. There's a possibility that it will be a bit taller. It will go U/C this November, it's another project that is announced that will start in this current year. Although the redevelopment was already known and in progress, the details of the new building just hadn't come out yet.

stats:
height: 91.6m
floors: 18 + rooftop structure
function: office
status: plan/demo
start: November 2012
complete: March 2015

location:
Kanda-Nishikicho 3-Chome, Chiyoda-ku
http://g.co/maps/cdxjk

Part of the plan is the partial rebuilding of the former Hakuhodo Head office Building (博報堂旧本社ビル) that was demolished in 2009, the original dated from 1930.

http://blog.goo.ne.jp/asabata/e/db31...ab72749faa66fe

Right next this project is this tower that should be U/C right now.

TOKYO 東京 | Nishikicho Trade Square 錦町トラッドスクエア | 83m | U/C
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...&postcount=152

But I haven't seen any updates, so I don't know the exact status of construction right now.

The 2nd tower of the redevelopment. This seems to be a bit further in the redevelopment process then the taller tower. It's expected to start construction this year, but only when it will get it's final approval.

Height: 135m (assumption)
Floors: 41
Function: residential tower + mall
Status: plan
Start: 2011
Complete: 2015 (plan)

Location:

Hiroshima Station, Hiroshima.

It looks like I totally didn't notice a design change in August 2011 for this project. It was scaled up quite a bit, up to 49 floors.

Therefor I can now bring this as new positive news now more details have come out. This tower will now be 50 floors tall and have a height of 180m.

stats:
Height: 180m

Complete: Summer 2015

Location:

With this we should see 2 tall towers U/C at the end of the year, as the 200m South Entrance B Block is also planned to start construction in December.

Pleasently surprised by the height increase. Also the new design looks better than the previous one, (but still not pretty in my opinion -_-').

Tokyo Tower straightening work.

04/19

The scaffolding is going up to the top, but it looks like they just covering it up for the workers to be protected from the wind.

It's interesting they chose to slap that down right next to another very similar tower. I was looking at the satellite map and was surprised to see such a huge plot of vacant land to the west (the grounds of a former factory). Apparently there is (was?) a redevelopment plan but it doesn't appear to be making progress. I wonder what's happening to it now?

On the site there used to be a factory of Mitsubishi Paper Mills and is now redeveloped as the Niijiku 6-chome district redevelopment.

The main part of that area will be turned into a campus for the Tokyo University of Science. It's U/C right now and should be completed next year.

http://www.tus.ac.jp/news/katsushika/

Around the campus there will be a big park.

http://www.city.katsushika.lg.jp/29/130/011244.html

The 140m tall tower from the blog post you linked is still in the list of projects that haven't started yet. The construction should have started in 2009, but it was delayed because of the financial crisis. The last new for this project was from late 2010, then the aim was to start in Spring 2012. That's now and there are no signs that anything is actually going on. On the Katsushika ward redevelopment website there is only the masterplan and the more detailed plans for the campus and nothing specific for this tower.

wow, the city of Hiroshima is very unusual, a lot of high rise building construction projects and a dozen even dozens of floors is very different from my city Banjarmasin, if I may know the tallest building in Hiroshima there and how many floors the building what it's called? My city would you be excited, because I have a floating market town on the river and one of them in the world, surely you already know from the internet world, hehehehe

once magnificent project, tenat anything that will fill in later?

The current highest building in Hiroshima is:

"Urban View Grand Tower", 166m, 43 floors.
http://www.blue-style.com/photo/todo...w-34-1888.html

http://www.blue-style.com/photo/todo...w-34-1888.html

The Highest building in Fukuoka is:

"Island Tower Sky Club", 145.3m, 42 floors
http://www.blue-style.com/photo/todo...view-2167.html

http://saitoshika.blog119.fc2.com/blog-entry-1072.html

There's also the 234m high "Fukuoka Tower". It's sometimes mistaken for a building with an antenna on top, but it's only a telecom/view tower.

http://saitoshika.blog119.fc2.com/blog-entry-321.html

As for the new tower in Fukuoka, this is the only info I could find. But it's not uncommon that there is no render for a new tower in Japan, even for towers that are already U/C.

Talking

extraordinary, whether it be office towers (multiple offices or companies located in one building) was the tallest building on hold by companies engaged in? I really like the building was in the third picture, what is now the project is built in the city of Hiroshima this?

I don't really understand you're questions, especially the first one.

For the 2nd question the other tower that will go U/C later this year in Hiroshima is the "Hiroshima Station South Entrance B Block Redevelopment", 200m, 51 floors. It will be, just like the 180m one a residential tower.

ps, there's no need to quote the last post with pictures, it's all a bit double.

I mean it's the first question is a building intended for anything, whether an office, residential, office and residential or even shopping malls are also in the building?

"Hiroshima Station South Entrance B Block Redevelopment" building located at the street or the areas where the city?

can you send me the most magnificent building for me, now what projects are currently in development?

oh, sorry I do not know how to post in this thread . and also constrained language between us.

I think you use an online translator, so It's hard to understand the gist of what you want to say or ask. Nevertheless, it's nice to see that you are passionate about Japanese urban developements.
To ask your first question, the current tallest building in Hiroshima Urban View Grand Tower is only a residential tower building.
