Thank you very much for the invitation to participate in this thread Mario
![]() I share a video -fortunately in English- about wines produced in Uruguay, here basically uses the Tannat grape variety to produce red wine or white wine. I hope you enjoy it, greetings ...

![]() well, the target I had when I opened this thread was to understand what happens around the globe in the world of wine. I knew wine countries like US, Italy (obviously ) and France, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Australia a.s.o., but I was very surprised to discover very unexpected countries like other afrikans ones, India, UK itself, and others...Now I would like to test the Tannat from Uruguay, to test the Canadian wine, and I hope someone would like to test wines from Aosta Valley "glacier's wine", a.s.o.. Life pleasures maybe a way to know each others

i don´t know why, but german wine seems to have a bad reputation...maybe we sell the cheap, horrible stuff and keep the good one in the country, but anyway...viticulture in present-day germany dates back to ancient roman times, to sometime from 70 to 270 CE/AD...and...yes, german wine in germany is quite good and we have a strong, good and proud wine growing culture here...

I suggest Esterhazy Eiswein and Trockenbeerenauslese. On this link http://www.snooth.com/winery/esterha...tadt/?t=images you find some pictures of their winery.

![]() Ciao Godetto ![]() In this thread something is missing, and maybe you could help to cover the gap: do you know something about chinese wine, where it is produced, eventually wineries, local consumption a.s.o.? I think we should complete the thread also with information from this very important country
