Centrebet Stadium Penrith, home of the Panthers in the NRL. These pics were taken mid last year when it was still known as CUA Stadium...

Eastern Grandstand, opened around 1990.

Western grandstand. This structure includes the original grandstand from the mid 1960s, as well as extensions from the late 1970s and 2006 (in the distant background).

Southern end - the building under the scoreboard has been demolished and replaced by a larger structure with much improved amenities.

Northern family hill. This is a dry area.

What the southern hill at Centrebet Stadium now looks like - Howell Oval at the rear (for cricket) I think has a grandstand attached to the rear.

I've always been curious to visit the leagues club and get a glimpse of some Broncos stars in training.

"Brisbane City Azzurri" used to be considered the Flagship soccer grounds back when the old NSL started in the late 70's. Unfortunately not much has happened since then !!

One of them almost knocked me off my bike with a wayward kick on the way to work recently...luckily I play a lot of football (soccer) and I planted it straight back on his chest with my foot They're there training quite a lot with the press often doing interviews near the sandpit. No need to enter the club...just drive your car into the carpark on the southern side of the club and you can watch through your windscreen.

Which days of the week would be most optimal to see them?

Sorry, don't pay attention...you would think I would know wouldn't you after riding past every day

If it's any help they were there this morning in force with 3 cameramen all over my bike path oh, and the sandpit has been filled in recently if you're looking for it as a reference point.

Great shots. Have just bough my first season ticket to the Brisbane Roar so will be enjoying that great stadium a lot for the next while. Of course it may not be quite as full ... but I can bring the 7yo for only $50 extra for the whole season in a premium seat. Bargain.
