i do think financial planners can serve a purpose and you shouldnt tar all with the same brush ryan
the problem is impartiality, they are often hired by places that sell the very products that they might recommend.

Usually, the only way to get true impartial advice is to pay for it generally

The hoarding around the Perth Underground entrance to the Raine Square tunnel has come down. Looks like still a bit of work to do inside. There is a shop style clear roller door closing it off.

I'm sure it will look a lot brighter in person. Hard to judge from a photo of a photo.

I was ragged on a few months ago for saying the escalators looked heavy, but they really do weigh the space down and give it a very oppressive feel. I certainly won't be eating my greasy Croissant Express pastry underneath those things.

Do escalators exist that dont have that same feeling? Every escalator I know of has that feeling of "bulk".
Also a bunch of people were erecting steel beams on the building on the corner of William and Wellington the other day, I am guessing these are going to be the supports that hold the new verandah up? |

There are escalators with glass casing, though I'm not sure if they seem lighter at all.
It's all a bit too busy for me. I hate that sort of tiling with random geometry all over. Also, I imagine there are more lights to go in. Aren't there feature lights to hang in the atrium? |

I would say the random gemoertry is all over. The main space looks square, like a big rectangle, then they thought "let's be really wacky and put the escalator in on an angle".
Someone got paid the big bucks to come up with that idea. |

Framework for the balconies has stretched around onto William street and inside you can see what looks like all the original detailed ballustrading etc. being painted.

It looks like a badly designed 80's mall. Just as well there's nothing interesting opening there so no need to go.
