Even people who are obligated to do things pay just lip service (read politicians and aapicers at public service). So I don't know why you expect him to go above-and-beyond. As long as he pay taxes and remains a good citizen abiding by law he is good. You shouldn't expect more than that. As someone paying money for movie ticket you can at the max criticize his performance that's all.

it is true what they said through his song. Dolphins bleed in Coovam instead of breeding. sad tale continues to our city. I will only rate Chennai good if they desilt and cleanse Coovam for good and turn it potable.

Wishful thinking VG...atleast they could clean it and ensure that it remains clean by plugging all the illegal discharges. Do they have the wherewithal to do it ??? - doubtful and questionable!!!!

Coovam is political money.. how udayanidhi stalin, ADMK successor will make money?
i remember hindu article ..In 1960s thatha wished to clean coovum...
they did not do it in 50 yrs.. (including for next few years also)...
do you think it will be cleaned?

we should insist they do it. Fold your hands and organize a strike. Be on a fast. Unnaviradham seinga until they get it sorted. (But dont ask me to participate in the fast though
