Gracias nhanho, queria escuchar una anecdota como esa. En mi familia la he escuchado, pero no recuerdo bien. Ademas decian que eran playas anchas y que la gente le gustaba ir a La Libertad mas que a Salinas. Que ellos iban a Salinas, y que siempre ha sido mas "aninhado"

Mi papá tiene una casa en la Av 9 de Octubre y atrás está el malecón,
él me contaba que había una gran playa atrás, pero lo que la dañó fue un malecón que hicieron (no el actual), ese fue el error que cometió el alcalde de ese entonces.

ahora se la ha intentado recuperar construyendo unos rompeolas
