Brisbane’s AM30 gets OK
Local developer Marquette Properties has been handed development approval for its $180 million office building in Brisbane’s city centre.

Agree adds to the blandness of that area but also the retail on the ground will be the usual Pie Face and s**t.

Actually, the ground floor is housing a supermarket.

As for the height, in the current economy and with a fair amount of commercial space and residential coming online around the city, I think that it being a shorty isn't necessarily a bad thing. If this was a much larger tower (150 to 200m), could offering that extra space, in conjunction with similar developments, potentially impact on the business case for more impressive projects, say 111+222 for example? I don't know whether it would or wouldn't impact 111+222, but I'd know which I would prefer to see.
