Chinese generals with the mentality of ancient and modern day Pirates and their fellow Chinese Pirates from the this gang called Politburo are really provoking the Philippines to shoot first so that they have the excuse to finish the country.

One Pinoy expert regarding China said that right now, it will be better if we just stand our ground and keep our diplomatic and media offensive so that the international diplomatic community and media will monitor the movements of Pirate China.

We should be patient and stead fast not to give up Panatag to huge modern Pirate called China.

A country that has "lamat" relationship with China. Maybe we could strengthen our relationship with this country and seek for support against Chinese bullying:

NORWAY!

Quote:
The Chinese-Norwegian relationship ran into a slight setback in 2010 because the Norwegian parliament-appointed Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the prize to an incarcerated Chinese man, Liu Xiaobo. China reacted strongly, saying that relations between their two countries had been damaged.[9][10][11][12] A planned meeting in Beijing between Norwegian Fisheries Minister Lisbeth Berg-Hansen and Chinese food control authorities was cancelled at the last minute, ostensibly because their counterparts had "other engagements"; Norwegian officials said that a meeting due to be held the same day between Berg-Hansen and the Chinese vice-minister for fisheries had been cancelled in reaction to the award. Elsewhere, performances of a Norwegian musical scheduled for the following month starring Alexander Rybak, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, also fell victim to the diplomatic fallout, according to the musical's composer.[13] In early December, Norway announced that its bilateral trade talks with China had been indefinitely put on hold. Haakon Hjelde, Norway's negotiator alleged the postponement was not directly linked to the award, but Henning Kristofferson, director of international relations of the BI Norwegian School of Management, was certain that this was a retaliatory move. He said that Beijing had been "very clear that the prize was a big mistake and that it would damage relations."[14]

Cold relations with China ‘damaging’

Quote:
The Beijing government summoned the Norwegian ambassador in protest. It called Mr Liu a "criminal", saying the award violated Nobel principles and could damage relations with Norway.

The Norwegian Nobel committee said Mr Liu was "the foremost symbol" of the struggle for human rights in China.
China's Nobel anger as Liu Xiaobo awarded peace prize

Norway’s relation with China still frozen over Nobel award

OSLO: Norway used to be China’s top fresh salmon supplier, sending steadily growing volumes to exclusive restaurants in Beijing and Shanghai.

China is a fat bully who throws tantrums when his wishes are not granted....

Just read in the newspaper, our DFA Secretary is requesting the US to provide to us those excess equipments removed from the former US Cutter now BRP Gregorio Del Pilar. Perhaps he is also making some follow ups regarding the requested F-16 planes and the USS Cutter Dallas.

We all badly need these equipments.

China's spat with Philippines a true test

Quote:
MANILA, Philippines -- There is a Ruritanian whiff to the war of words now raging between the Philippines and China over a couple of rock outcroppings in the western Pacific known to most seafarers as the Scarborough Shoal.

"China should be prepared to engage in a small-scale war at sea with the Philippines," was how China's Global Times tabloid put it this week. "Once the war erupts, China must take resolute action to deliver a clear message to the outside world that it does not want a war, but definitely has no fear of it."

"We will not be intimidated," has been the official Filipino response. However, its defence secretary, Voltaire Gazmin, encapsulated his country's dilemma in a sentence, when he asked: "How can an ant bully an elephant?" With gunboat diplomacy having been recently practised by paramilitary vessels from both countries, if diplomacy fails this dispute could turn deadly at any time. At the very least, how China handles this row may provide an indication of how the ascendant superpower intends to behave toward its smaller neighbours.

Iran, North Korea as well as Pakistan and India, with their potential for nuclear mayhem, are deservedly considered the world's major flashpoints. But aside from the Scarborough Shoal, there are two other potential flashpoints in the South China Sea, whose waters are of keen interest because they straddle the world's busiest shipping lanes and are surrounded by rich fisheries and oil and gas fields of untold wealth.

China, Taiwan and Vietnam claim the Paracel Islands, which China has occupied since a mini-war against Vietnam resulted in dozens of deaths in the 1970s. The Spratlys, whose several hundred atolls collectively only amount to four square kilometres of dry land, are claimed by China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines -- which all have armed forces there -- and Brunei, which doesn't.

The tiff on the boil right now over the Scarborough Shoal pits Asia's Goliath, China, against its perennial weakling, the Philippines. Five of the reefs -- for that is what the Scarborough Shoal really is -- are just a couple of metres above water at high tide. They lie about 200 kilometres west of the Philippine province of Zambales and about 800 kilometres east of the Chinese mainland.

The reefs appear on maps used by Imperial Spain, which ran the Philippines for nearly four centuries and were used by the U.S. and Philippine forces as a bombing range for years after the Second World War. Panatag Shoal, as the Filipinos call the islets, also fall within the 300-kilometre exclusive economic zone claimed by Manila.

Beijing insists the reefs -- which it calls the Huangyan Islands -- have been an integral part of China for eight centuries. Both countries claim the waters are traditional fishing grounds that they have harvested for centuries.

When sailors from a Philippine Coast Guard cutter boarded Chinese vessels they said were poaching fish around the shoal earlier this month, Manila demanded they leave. Beijing upped the ante by sending three surveillance ships which seized control of the shoal.

Militarily incapable of countering such high-seas brinkmanship, the Philippines appealed to the U.S. for help. The issue is certain to be raised when U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton meet their Filipino counterparts in Washington on Monday.

While it is highly unlikely the U.S. will intervene militarily, whether it intervenes diplomatically is not yet clear. With so many ships sailing these waters, what is obvious is Washington does not want them to become a "Chinese lake." It is one of many reasons Obama signalled last December the U.S. would beef up its military presence in the western Pacific, a move that has triggered a vitriolic response from Beijing.

-- Postmedia News
We should use it as bombing range again so that no Chinese fishermen will ever come near it again

Russia, China agree on Syria, North Korea: Chinese minister
ReutersReuters – 10 hrs ago

MOSCOW (Reuters) - China and Russia agree entirely with each other's positions on the crisis in Syria and on North Korea's nuclear program, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping said on Saturday in Moscow.

"The sides hold 100 percent coinciding positions on the issues of North Korea and Syria," Cheng, who was accompanying Vice Premier Li Keqiang on a visit to Russia, told reporters through an interpreter.

Russia and China have protected Syrian President Bashar al-Assad by blocking two U.N. Security Council resolutions condemning a government crackdown in which the United Nations says 9,000 people have been killed since March 2011.

While publicly opposing foreign interference and particularly military intervention in Syria, they have both backed U.N.-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan's peace plan in Security Council votes and urged the government and rebels to adhere to a ceasefire.

China and Russia criticized North Korea's defiant launch of long-range rocket this month, but both called for restraint.

The two veto-wielding permanent U.N. Security Council members use their clout to blunt U.S. power, advocating what they call a "multipolar" world rather than one dominated by any single country.

At the same time, they compete for influence in former Soviet Central Asia and struggle to hash out differences over energy supplies despite an apparent natural fit between Russia and the world's fastest growing energy consumer.

Li, who is on track to succeed Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao later this year, met on Friday with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who will be inaugurated to a six-year presidential term on May 7.

Russians are as dangerous as ever. I wonder if it was ever a nice feeling working in labor camps than working professionally and gain merit from it.

The U.S should have allowed Hitler to annihilate Stalin by not sending aid to it. They can just continue to open up the new front without helping the Russians. It's like hitting two birds in one stone.

But then things are different nowadays. The West should now do what they must in order to keep the world safe form these devils.

I read somewhere that Russia is actually supplying arms to Assad. I will try to find where I read that.

Russia is dying economically according to some reports because of the demised of the mighty Soviet Union. What makes Russia powerful is the remaining arms and armament manufacturing capability left by the old Soviet.

No wonder Russia is looking for more clients for their weapons. No wonder Syria is a client of Russia. Cash register of Russia will be ringing until Assad is annihilated by the West and angry Arab nations allied with the West.

Actually one decisive attack from Israel will be like taking Golan Heights of Syria.
