OT: local (freelance) web design?

Not an advertisement, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone to manage /design a web site? I have a 3rd party who I can't handle (neither time nor patience) and I'd like to offer an alternative web designer before I outright resign from the job.

john f - i do a lot of flash sites and maintanence for people. not sure what type of site he/she is looking for but i would be more than happy to send some flash samples

I know a guy that did my businesses websites. He is really reasonable and a normal, nice guy to work with. PM me for more info if you still need it. He can set it up so you can manage it, or you can pay him to manage it on an ongoing basis. I had no web management skills prior to my new website and now I manage three for my business.
