Old (ish) news, but here's a nice overhead rendering of the new Cape Horn interchange ...

As YF was saying back on post #516, there's plans for a new Pattullo bridge sometime in the future. Here are some Options on where the bridge will be located, and how the surrounding roads will be improved.

I think that the upstream option will be better because they said that there could be some environmental issues on the downstream side involving that park near Surrey.

I actually prefer the new bridge will move further upstream so that it will connect to highway one but it ain't gonna happen.

As you may be able to notice, I've recently taken an interest in this project.
I found another cool thing on the Port Mann/ Highway 1 improvement project website. If you go there and click In your community / Vancouver/burnaby / project designs you'll find some very informative maps. I spend hours studying the new interchanges, lanes, etc. |
